New collaboration to enable current and future Lenbrook residents to have access to the most advanced senior living technology on the market.
Think “smart home” technology is just a future dream or too complicated for seniors? A new partnership between K4Connect and Lenbrook is about to change that. As the first Smart Senior Living Community in Georgia, Lenbrook will implement K4Community, K4Connect’s smart solution created specifically for residents, staff and operators of senior living communities. The secure solution features several ways to keep Lenbrook residents, families, and staff safely connected.
K4Connect is a purpose-driven technology company that creates solutions that serve and empower older adults and those living with a disability. The new partnership with Lenbrook, Atlanta’s premier Life Plan Community, will establish K4Community as the foundation for the senior living community’s expanding technology offerings. With K4Community, residents will be able to access real time information about life at Lenbrook, control their smart living environments, monitor their health and wellness, access community concierge services, and securely connect with loved ones, staff and fellow residents by using their smartphone, tablet or, in time, simply their voice.

Lenbrook will roll out K4Community in phases. The first phase will include K4Community’s content creation, management, publishing, and digital signage platform, along with K4Community’s resident and family application that provides access to community content, community services and a private social network. The second phase includes expanded smart capabilities, which will be available at the upcoming Kingsboro at Lenbrook community opening in 2022. Once the phase-in is complete, Lenbrook residents and staff will have access to:
- Smart Home: Residents will be able to control their smart living environments (smart lights and thermostats, etc.).
- Smart Wellness: Residents will be able to monitor their health and wellness with fitness trackers, connected smart scales or blood pressure cuffs.
- Smart Living: Residents will securely connect with loved ones, fellow residents and community services using technology.
- Content Creation and Digital Signage: The industry’s most advanced digital signage will automate Lenbrook staff workflows and simplify the way they create, manage and share content. This provides increased opportunity for resident engagement with access to real-time information and events, all while streamlining the creation and publishing process for staff members.
In addition to providing multiple conveniences to residents, K4Community equips Lenbrook’s staff with the tools and advanced analytics to provide the best in care and hospitality. K4Community drives overall efficiencies and cost-savings for community managers through operations and workflow automation and energy management.
