K4Connect Welcomes Covenant Village as Newest Senior Living Technology Partner

MORRISVILLE, NC K4Connect, a leading provider of enterprise technologies for senior living, today announced that Covenant Village, a nonprofit Life Plan Community in Gastonia, North Carolina, has selected K4Connect to power a more connected resident and staff experience through its integrated technology platform. Covenant Village has served older adults for more than 40 years with a mission centered on respect, compassion, safety, and possibility.

As part of the implementation, Covenant Village will deploy K4Community Smart Home, K4Community Voice, FusionOS, and K4Community Plus. The community will initially connect MatrixCare for resident and clinical data and MealSuite for dining services, creating the foundation for a more connected resident experience. With plans to integrate additional systems over time, Covenant Village is building a scalable technology ecosystem that will continue to expand the value delivered through K4Connect.

Unlike disconnected point solutions, K4Connect’s FusionOS platform brings together data from across the community into a single connected ecosystem. By connecting MatrixCare and MealSuite from day one, Covenant Village is laying the groundwork for transactional experiences within the K4Community Plus app that make everyday life easier for residents. Rather than simply displaying information, residents can interact with community services directly through a single application, while staff benefit from accurate, synchronized data across systems. As additional integrations are activated, those transactional capabilities will continue to grow.

“Technology is most impactful when it works together,” said Doug Sigmon, Director of Customer Success at K4Connect. “We’re excited to partner with Covenant Village to create a connected foundation that not only enhances the resident experience today but also positions the community for future innovation. With FusionOS connecting their data, Covenant Village can deliver experiences that simply aren’t possible when systems operate in silos.”

The implementation will allow residents to enjoy smart home and voice-enabled features while also benefiting from a more connected digital experience through the K4Community Plus app. As additional systems are connected through FusionOS, residents will gain access to transactional capabilities that make everyday interactions with the community more seamless and personalized.

“K4Connect stood out to us because of its flexibility. The ability to customize the app to fit our needs and the freedom it provides checked all the boxes we were looking for” said Cory Sills, Director of Technology at Covenant Village. “FusionOS and its integrations were also a game changer, allowing us to connect several of our applications and simplify processes for both our staff and, more importantly, our residents. I also can’t overlook the smart home capabilities, which have been requested from many of our newer residents and something K4 was able to deliver.”

FusionOS serves as the intelligent integration layer behind the K4Connect platform, connecting data across senior living applications to eliminate information silos and enable smarter operations. Combined with K4Community’s resident engagement technologies, communities can deliver personalized experiences while reducing manual processes for staff.

This partnership reflects K4Connect’s continued commitment to helping senior living providers build connected communities that improve resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and long-term innovation.
