Community Staff can make sure residents are safe with Building Alerts: SMS updates are sent to staff when there are extreme temperatures set on thermostats in residences, powered by K4Community Smart Home.

“Hi, there” resonates here. With Communications Hub, residents can chat with each other and their friends & family. Chat is available in the K4Community Plus mobile app and at k4community.com.

  • Text messaging, photo sharing, file sharing and more is supported
  • In addition to Video Calling, residents can stay connected with their Friends & Family via chat

Communications Hub is an included feature of K4Community Plus.

“Alexa, ask K4 what’s for dinner”

Available Now

Residents curious to know what’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner? They can now ask Alexa! Staff add meal information using Post Manager in Team Hub and then residents can interact with Alexa to hear upcoming meal details.

  • Residents can ask Alexa for the menu for a specific meal in the future
  • Staff now have the ability to share popular information like meal menus via Plus and Voice

Content, Content & More Content

Available Now With Add-On

Literally thousands of pieces of content can be published to Plus in a matter of minutes. With our partners, staff can now provide residents with access to the libraries of leading content providers: Coro Health, CuriosityStream and Spiro100.

  • Provide on-demand wellness opportunities in-residence

Building Alerts

Building Alerts works hand-in-hand with your K4Community Smart Home thermostats to alert staff when extreme temperatures are reached in a residence.

Once enabled, staff can set a high and low temperature threshold. When one of these thresholds is reached, our system will send an SMS text message to interested staff (staff need to opt-in to receiving messages, of course, and this is done in Team Hub). In addition to the immediate alerting via SMS text messaging, a historical log of alerts is maintained in Team Hub and accessible to staff.
