Company’s CEO will share how its flagship product, K4Community, has improved the lives of older adults and streamlined operations for communities

Raleigh, N.C. – March 22, 2017 – K4Connect, a mission-centered technology company that creates solutions to serve and empower older adults and individuals living with disabilities, today announced that its co-founder, CEO and Chief Client Advocate, Scott Moody, will be speaking at HealthTAC 2017, taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, from March 22-24, 2017. Moody’s session, “Tapping Into Smart Technology,” will be held on Thursday, March 23 from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. CST.

The educational panel will discuss current innovations in smart technology for senior living communities and technologies on the horizon. The panel discussion, led by  Dennis Nessler, editor of Senior Living News, will provide a robust overview of the latest in senior living technology including adoption best practices, strategies for measuring business impact and how to best manage change.

Moody will also share the latest updates around K4Connect’s flagship product K4Community – a connected-life technology platform that helps the residents of senior living communities control their living environments (smart thermostats, lights, motion sensors, etc.), monitor their health (including fitness trackers and pill reminders), and stay in touch with their families and other residents through secure video and voice calling, photo sharing and messaging – all via an easy to operate tablet and PC application that provides a highly intuitive, streamlined interface. He’ll also share the operational benefits to the operator, including streamlined care and hospitality services, as well as higher occupancy rates.

“As the older adult segment of the population continues to grow rapidly, it is more important than ever for the tech and health industries to understand that there is a need for senior user-centric products which help individuals live healthier and more connected lives, and also allow senior living providers to continue to differentiate,” said Moody. “We have long believed that if you provide first order value to the resident, something they see as providing true value in their lives, then the benefit will flow to the entire ecosystem around them, from their families, to the community staff, to the operator. HealthTAC provides a great atmosphere for these important conversations to take place.”

HealthTAC is produced by Senior Living News a trusted resource for senior living leaders, key decision makers and those supplying the industry with innovative products. The conference will include an educational program featuring industry thought leaders discussing everything from the future of the industry, to the role of technology, to how organizations and individuals in the industry can maximize their potential. It will also feature exhibitions where attendees can discover new and innovative products and services.
