Award-winning financial executive, Ellen Grantham, to help lead mission-centered tech company through next phase of growth
Raleigh, N.C. – April 25, 2017 – K4Connect, a mission-centered technology company that creates solutions to serve and empower older adults and individuals living with disabilities, announced today the addition of Ellen Grantham as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Grantham, who was named CFO of the Year in 2016 by Triangle Business Journal, will report directly to F. Scott Moody, Co-Founder, CEO and Chief Client Advocate of K4Connect.
Grantham is a seasoned executive with more than 15 years of comprehensive business and financial services experience, in both large enterprise and the high growth startup markets. In her role as CFO at K4Connect, Grantham will be responsible for managing all financial operations, enabling the company to continue to drive growth and market leadership.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Ellen to the K4Connect team, where she brings a breadth of financial expertise as well as a diverse knowledge base that extends into operation and organizational development,” said Moody. “Ellen will play a significant role in driving performance as we enhance our current “connected-life” platform, K4Community, and expand our solutions into other markets that serve older adults and people with disabilities.”
Prior to joining K4Connect, Grantham served as the CFO of WebAssign, where she worked directly with the President and CEO to develop long-range strategy and growth plans, helped create the operational framework and leadership team that fueled revenue growth, scaled personnel, and positioned WebAssign for a successful acquisition. Grantham also formed an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to meet multiple critical needs (succession planning, employee engagement, tax planning) and provide a structure aligned with founder’s vision and objectives.
Grantham is currently pursuing a certification in the Results Coaching System™, a unique science-based coaching methodology that helps facilitate change by improving thinking, and is designed specifically to help coach high-performance individuals. Grantham looks forward to using this knowledge to drive individuals’ success as K4Connect grows, and to also address the developmental needs of the company.
“What drove me to K4Connect was it’s mission to serve. I’m really excited to aid in accelerating the Company’s mission to empower an underserved generation,” said Grantham. “Leveraging my extensive experience, I can help provide unique insight that informs the decision-making of the entire team, as well as the board of directors, to help support the growth goals of the company.”
