The Avamere Family of Companies has high hopes for its “micro CCRC” concept. The hopes are so high, in fact, that the Wilsonville, Oregon-based company is launching a separate company dedicated to the concept.

Avamere announced the launch of Ovation with two groundbreakings in St. George, Utah and Omaha, Nebraska, representing a combined $170 million investment into the concept. Future developments will be built in markets across the western U.S., at a rate of one per quarter in the coming years, at a cost between $75 million and $100 million.

Plans for the Ovation brand include a full suite of amenities including multiple dining options and concierge services. Avamere partnered with Raleigh, North-Carolina-based K4Connect for the communities’ tech needs. Ovation will be marketed to the active adult community.
